Hello,

I have a single process that eats up a load of memory and causes the load to skyrocket. The only info whm provides is:

/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir/ --datadir/var/lib/mysql --usermysql --pid-file/var/lib/mysql/primary.x1services.net.pid --skip-locking --port3306 --socket/tmp/mysql.sock

Owned by mysql. Is it possible to track it further to a particular script? Your help is much appreciated.

you can run "mysqladmin processlist" and it will give you a list of the processes currently being done on the mysql server. you could track it down to the user, then question them as to their scripting or actions.
