How does cpanel feel about ns1 and ns2 being on the same server IP?

ns1 and ns2 are on 1.1.1.1 and cpanel is on 1.1.1.1

A very bad idea, but becoming more common from what I can see.

If its all one physical box on one vlan in one data center what difference doesn it make

Still many single points of failure

If the dns is on sep ips and cpanel is on 3rd ip but all are on same box as is the case in probably 80+% of cpanel servers then it all goes down at once so what difference does it make ?? Other than complying with standards as much as possible

I understand the single point of failure all too well, but my questoin was more related to cpanel software itself having an issue, not so much redundancy, RFC stands, etc.

The software itself can handle everything on a single IP address.
