Is it possible to dierctly enter a cron command to ftp a file to a remote server?

Rather than have to write the script and execute the script via cron?

I know that may sound terribly lazy - but I don't need anything fancy just...

ftp file1 to ftp.myserver.com user pass etc etc

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

    Howdy,

I've used ncftp to do it a few times. Also SSH keys and scp would make short work of it too.

    Enjoy!
