Has anybody come across a site builder that is as easy and flexible to use as Weebly?

Weebly has put together a terrific offering for which I cannot find anything comparable that can be purchased and installed onto a cpanel server. I currently use siteZen, but there is no comparison.

Thanks.

You cannot. They do not sell their software - they use it exclusively to build their hosting business and are doing an amazing job. Hence, I'm surprised that there is no truly competing product out there (that I am aware of.)

It is virtually impossible to compete with Weebly.

I'm not sure of you've come across this one or not, I met these guys at the cPanel Conference 2011, at the Trendy Site Builder table. :)

Flash Website Builder: Flash Web Design Software & Flash Templates

I was so taken by it I came home and purchased it just to play on my own server. If you talk to them make sure you tell 'em Infopro said Hello! :)

The demo is amazing. I was told there is another update coming for full server setup soon. This is cPanel compatible.

Drawbacks, the site stays with the server with trendy installed.

Thanks! Great find, and I will be sure to check it out thoroughly. It looks very nice at quick glance. I am hopeful that it will do a storefront site as nicely as Weebly does.

My first experience trying TrendyFlash is not impressive. Aside from dead links and misleading instructions and poor integration with WHM, when I create a site and click SAVE, I get "Save Failed."

Sure, they built something really great for designing a quick and pretty site, but the product as a whole is so unrefined that it becomes impractical from an overall functional and supportable standpoint.

I really hope they clean this thing up. With what I see, they could probably spend a couple of days cleaning it up and have something really great. But, if I can't save my work, it is entirely useless.

Looks like I will be canceling until they get it together.

Any other site builder suggestions out there?

Thanks.

Mike

I need to bump this thread... really need some advice as to what site building tools for customers are out there, that we can offer on our cPanel servers.

I have been using SiteZen with great success, but it has been announced that this product has been end-of-life'd.

I have also looked at the Trendy SiteBuilder, but I'm not a big fan of all-flash websites. What else are you guys using out there, with success?

I haven't had a chance to look further... I was sort of hoping this thread would provide some good ideas or suggestions... guess not.

Breezi.com have a new sitebuilder plugin for Cpanel, but it forces the user to pay and sign up at Breezi.com. TrendyFlash is no longer giving customer support. Weebly had plans to release a plugin, but those plans are on hold. I wonder how much a cusotm site builder would cost to develop, there is a real need out there.

I wanted to love Breezi, but I really disliked it. I think we are going to develop something ourselves -- seems there is no other alternative.

Hi Sneader, know you from the old SiteZen forums. I wondered if you presently have a problem with Sitezen. I am running CENTOS 5.5 i686 virtuozzo – host and WHM 11.34.0 (build 11). My customers suddenly can't access their editor panels anymore. When they log in it takes them straight to the page where you first start building your site. You know, the one with the clock on it and says "Are you ready to build a website?". Point is they already built it but this is the page that shows every time they log in to edit their existing site. My VPS server also runs a Drupal website and it is not showing any of the published pages blocks except the header. As that happened at the same time, I wondered if this has something to do with a server update. I have it set to auto update. May have to re-think that! Any thoughts or ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.

I want to say something here. I have searched for years and tested almost every sitebuilder in the planet. So far the only option seems to be RvSitebuilder, even while its buggy like hell and has issues, there is not something for cPanel that is in the same league.

Its amazing but there is really a huge market for this and nobody is tapping into it. I see the same posts in WHT forums almost every week, someone looking for a good SiteBuilder for cPanel.

There are great SiteBuilders and mostly are services or do not target hosting providers. And then ones you can run locally in your servers cannot compete with current offerings.

If you need something that you can brand, and sell with your hosting plans, hosted and running in your servers, I have to sadly say there isn´t a better solution today in terms of features than RVSitebuilder. Others are just plain silly in features to the point nobody would use it or even pay for it. And the ones which are amazing, are mostly externally hosted, more like affiliate programs, not something you can sell directly to your clients.

So I really hope some company comes with a product that is decent. I know allot, but allot of people would purchase such a product.
