Site stats cron (analog, awstats etc) resulting in high load

I've noticed at a certain time of the day, each day that the site load goes up greatly and so do disk writes (via iostat). Looking at top it seems like awstats.pl and analog are causing the high load.

So question is:
  1. How do I determine at what time the webstats are scheduled to run
  2. How do I change this time
  3. How can I possibly get it to run more frequently (in order to reduce the high load when it does run)

Thanks

Managed to find some information after searching a bit more for anyone else who has a similar problem.

WHM - > Statistics Software Configuration

There you can define how frequently the stats are updated. If you click Schedule Configuration you can also choose when the stats are not run (ie during peak periods or when backups are running).

Official documentation here:
Statistics Software Configuration

Some further reading here:

Hope that helps.
