Sites OK, but WHM won't load

I should have mentioned site cpanels also were ok. I will try restart cpanel daemon now and try WHM again.

Using netstat -nlp command check if the server is listening on WHM ports.

Mine is also now doing the same.. server load goes up to 20+ and then you can't login to ssh, whm, webmail and cpanel it's a real pain.

Normal WHM URL won't load + super high iowait

Sometime around 3:30am the server decided to go crazy for in my mind, no apparent reason until I ran /scripts/upcp –force which brought the loads under control (reboot did not help prior). The load ran consistently under 2 yesterday until the unknown "event."

Since then, my normal route to WHM will not load, but another IP on the server lets me access WHM.

This is what it looked like during maybe the worst of "it."

What am I missing? I just don't see what led to a crash. Input and opinions welcome.
