    Hello,

I want to enable skip-name-resolve for MySQL. Is there anything special I need to do to ensure cPanel / cPanel functions don't break because of this? skip-name-resolve makes it so the "host" for each user must be an IP address or localhost -- it can't be a server URI.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I'm not aware of any existing issues with cPanel/WHM when skip-name-resolve is used. I know that access to phpMyAdmin resulted in errors in the past when skip-name-resolve was enabled, but that was addressed in cPanel version 11.40.

    Thank you.
