slow account transfer from one cpanel account to another.

Hi,
I am transferring one cpanel account from one dedicated server to another cpanel based dedicated server.
when it is streaming home directory, it shows :

..... bytes @ 0.3748 M/s ..

most of the time it is around 0.3M/s

is it normal?

Will this speed depend on my internet connection speed or the speed of my server.

The server from which I am running the transfer has 100MB port speed.

Please inform.

This usually occurs if the connection speed of one of the servers (sending or receiving data) is low.

Also it happens when there are thousands of small files (smaller than 1 KB) on the server.
