    Not sure where to submit this so please correct me.

    This is present in these versions:

    1) cPanel 11.25.0-C42399 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9
    FREEBSD 6.2 i386 standard on cwpro1

    2) cPanel 11.25.0-C40255 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9
    FREEBSD 6.2 i386 standard on cwpro2

    I updated the first (1) yesterday on a system that uses a remote mysql host.

    In the /usr/local/cpanel/bin/update-horde (and updatehorde) line 50 reads:

    my $mysql_host = qx(grep ^host /root/.my.cnf | sed 's/\"//g' | awk -F= '{ print $2 }');

    The $2 in the awk needs to be escaped giving:

    my $mysql_host = qx(grep ^host /root/.my.cnf | sed 's/\"//g' | awk -F= '{ print \$2 }');

    If not escaped, the host name includes "host=" which breaks the mysql connection.

    Thank you for the information. At the moment I'm not able to reproduce the issue, but if a ticket is submitted we can assist in verifying the symptoms on the affected server and escalate the issue as needed. For suspected bugs please submit a support request; using this method we are able to more efficiently investigate and track each case and this also helps ensure speedier resolution. When available, please PM me the ticket ID number so I may follow-up internally.
