When using PHP forms on this server, I am having trouble getting emails to be sent out. When I check the queue, the email is sitting there, undelivered to a remote address. When I click on "Deliver Now", WHM gives the following error message.

    SMTP>> MAIL FROM:<user5@ns.serverhost.net> SIZE=1449
SMTP<< 451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address user5@ns.serverhost.net does not resolve
    SMTP>> QUIT

I understand what this is telling me. The dns for "ns.serverhost.net" does not resolve and this is causing the 451 error.

However, when I use a separate server to check dns for ns.serverhost.net, it shows a proper return.

    root@ns [~]# nslookup ns.serverhost.net
Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.
    Server: 127.0.0.1
    Address: 127.0.0.1#53

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: ns.serverhost.net
    Address: 222.222.222.222

    What could be wrong?

Can you do a dig on the domain from that server? If not there is an issue most likely with your resole.conf or with the server that you are using.
