SMTP not working

    I have a couple of accounts that cannot get SMTP services to work even though all settings are set as per documentation or auto configured through Control Panel. The only similarity between accounts is that both use McAffee Viruscan on their computers. Has any one got any thoughts on this?

    Their ISPs could be blocking 3rd party SMTP servers to keep spam leaving their network to a minimum. You should either run exim on an alternate port or tell users to use their ISPs SMTP server.
