SMTP/POP3 Format

    I might not be the brightest bulb on the tree when it comes to Cpanel, but I need some feedback cuz i just don't get it. :>

    if you create an email account, it returns your login is If you use in Outlook Express it works for incoming mail but doesn't work for outgoing mail when authenticating to the SMTP server. I even tried using the "Add this account to Outlook Express Config".

    If you change the login to instead of the +, it authenticates fine on the SMTP server and email is sent successfully. When using the username as the full email address with the @ instead of the + for POP3, it also recieves fine. I've been giving out email addresses in the format of

    Why does Cpanel echo the username after the account creation with a + when it just causes issues? Why not use the @ instead?

    Any feedback would be cool.
