Hi

I have a domain (domain.com) that I have setup to use load balancing (with the apache module).
I have created the mail1.domain.com (through cpanel) and set it as MX record for the domain.
I have created the "support" email account (through cpanel) on mail1.domain.com but I cannot get the email when I send from gmail for example.

exim log: =mail-vc0-f172.google.com [209.85.220.172]:34417 F=<[email protected]> temporarily rejected RCPT <[email protected]>: lowest numbered MX record points to local host

How to setup the email correctly ?

thanks

Hello :)

Is the MX record configured for a remote server? If so, you will need to ensure the domain name is in the /etc/remotedomains file. You can correct this by browsing to:

"WHM Home » DNS Functions » Edit MX Entry"

Under "Email Routing", select "Remote Mail Exchanger".

Thank you.
