    Hello guys,

I need to achieve the following, my server is completely secure for emailing.
Only relaying to a specific SMTP server is allowed, SMTP connections even local SMTP connections are discarded.

Because of this the WHM/cPanel notification emails generated by root cant be sent anymore so I dont get them, I would like to know if anyone know how to do so root emails are relayed through this specific SMTP server.

Someone at Exim told me that I should add a router and transport that does those special handlings for email from root that is sourced from localhost and send it through this specific SMTP server but I really dont know how to do this.

Any help will be very appreciated!

    Thanks :)

Have you tried contacting Exim developers for this? It seems its going to be a bit complex to accomplish.
