SMTP service on exim is not working

Hello,

I have cpanel installed on my server and IMAP service is running, but SMTP service is not running.

WHM shows that exim is running fine. Doesn't cpanel install a SMTP service during install?

Need HELP!!!

If Exim is running then your SMTP is running. You will need to provide more information before we can help.

Your mail components of a Cpanel box are:

Exim
cppop
IMAP
Webmail


Try running:
/scripts/updatenow
/scripts/exim4
/scripts/mailperm
/scripts/restartsrv exim


See if this helps sort out your issues.
