SMTP Tweak - what is this?

hello i found on my WHM this function: SMTP Tweak and i enable it. What is this?

I recognize i did something stupid to enable something without knowing what is that.

I got this message also:

The SMTP Tweak has been enabled
SMTP Mail protection has been enabled. Only users with the gid mail or mailman may make smtp connections.

It does what it says. It only allows those users to connect out on port 25 from the server. Any other script or process must send out email using the exim/sendmail binary.
