We have SNMP development experience and I am looking to write an application to poll for specific SNMP data.

Our VPS has gone down a few times recently and we would like to be able monitor and collect data ourselves.

Any help on setting up SNMP on CPanel would be appreciated.

Re: cPanel status information via SNMP

Do you suspect this is a cpanel related issue or could it be just normal OS type problems?

If this is uncertain, you could start with the OS and install SNMP like any other server and get cpu, load, memory, disk etc, all the normal things a linux box will expose via SNMP.
