    Hello,

I need to install snmp-tools to be used with mrtg.

I see in the easyapache snmp is available for apache compilation but with the warning "SNMP: requires the SNMP Dev libraries to be installed first!!!"

With yum I can see the following RPMs:

Do you recommend install the net-snmp-devel.i386 and compile apache before or install net-snmp.i386 and net-snmp-utils.i386 directly with yum and not compile anything?

    Thanks in advance!

The snmp stuff in easyapache is for the php libraries - so you have to have snmp-utils installed in order for php to use it. Therefore, install snmp via yum, then run easyapache.
