Well, apache hasn't really made any major releases or bug fixes to the apache 2.0 project in nearly 6 months, so it's safe to say it is stable. Also most of the control panels out today come with apache 2... infact they started to a long time ago... So, when is the cpanel team going to finally pump out a release with apache 2 instead of working on "game server" modules.....

    Go on, have a guess
Haven't a clue, have you tried asking them? (i.e. email them - though the usual reply is that it will be released when it's done).

I have heard there are some problems with Apache 2 and PHP or some other software that is installed with CPANEL.
