Benn waiting all day for Cpanel, no reply as of yet, had a exim issue and I somehow sorted it out. But I was a bit freaked as I could not uscp nor anything, and Cpanel must be having a busy monday morning.

Anyone know what this can be? It is happening or more than one server for me :(

    Hello,

I continue to get the same error on a couple of my servers. There is a message between the greatar than and smaller than that will not print here:

    Socket Handle

This seems to be the problem somehow. I opened a ticket yesterday but no answer as of yet :( I guess Mondays are busy, but hopefully I can get an answer today. I cannot upcp nor sysup nor nothing like that :(

Anyways, if anyone knows what it could be, let me know :) I would really appreciate any tips.

ok, it just got worse, I tried to run a couple of the scripts again on one of the servers

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/sysup
    /scritps/upcp

now it got all messed up, there is no way for it to dial home from what I see. I turned off my apf firewall also to see if this was the problem and it did not resolve it either. Something went dreadfully wrong when I added some of those addon modules :(

Man I wish Cpanel would look at my ticket :(

I am going close to 24 hours right now with no answer form Cpanel, and apache and exim are totally messed up right now on one box. I had the Tranxacglobal folks look at it and they also could not figure it out. Doing searches here I see no one with a similar issue, this is terrible :(

I can only pray for the kindness of Cpanel support, hopefully they can look at my ticket soon, I am getting killed with complaints :(

    I saw this:

    root@server [/usr/local/cpanel]# locate cPanelRPM.pm
    /scripts/cPanelRPM.pm
    /scripts/cPanelRPM.pm.old
    /scripts/scripts/cPanelRPM.pm
    /scripts/scripts/cPanelRPM.pm.old
    root@secure00 [/usr/local/cpanel]# ls -l /scripts/cPanelRPM*
    -rwx------ 1 root root 37589 Jun 5 22:19 /scripts/cPanelRPM2.pm*
    -rwx------ 1 root root 49223 Nov 1 19:04 /scripts/cPanelRPM.pm*
    -rwx------ 1 root root 30070 Nov 1 19:04 /scripts/cPanelRPM.pm.old*

Noticed that this file changed so I switched back the old one to try it:

    root@server [/usr/local/cpanel]# cd /scripts
    root@server [/scripts]# cp cPanelRPM.pm cPanelRPM.pm.working
    root@server [/scripts]# cp cPanelRPM.pm.old cPanelRPM.pm
    cp: overwrite `cPanelRPM.pm'? y
    root@server [/scripts]# /scripts/sysup
