    Just a quick one.

I've never used software RAID on a WHM server before but..

Will cPanel/WHM automatically send emails to the admin email of the server if there is a drive failure?

    Hi,

cPanel & WHM will not monitor software raid for you. You will need to setup something manually to monitor the array.

Thanks for the information. I was curious whether it would be included, as there are disk usage alerts etc.

    Hi!

Disk usage alerts are for disk space and inodes, which are controlled by quotas and the file system installed onto the partition. File system layers are much easier to monitor, which is why we do so by default. As there are lots of different RAID setups (hardware, software, etc), there's nothing built into cPanel to accomplish this.

    I hope this helps!
