Hi. I am getting this error after 10 mins on non-stop basis. How can I stop or fix this?

Hello,

Is the "cpanel-dovecot-solr" service enabled in "WHM >> Service Manager on this system? If it's enabled, please post the output from the following commands:

Code:
uname -r
cat /usr/local/cpanel/version
netstat -npl | grep :8984
/scripts/restartsrv_base cpanel-dovecot-solr --status
Thank you.

cat /usr/local/cpanel/version
11.64.0.36
netstat -npl | grep :8984
no output. Doesnt shows anything.
/scripts/restartsrv_base cpanel-dovecot-solr --status
(XID y4rcb8) The “cpanel-dovecot-solr” service is down.

And yes. The service is enabled.

I did a reinstall of Dovecot using this guide

Service Down cpanel-dovecot-solr

Still the same issue of service is down

Hello,

Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look?

Thank you.

I have one open (waiting) but in the mean time can anyone follow up with the fix found in tickets?
It looks like you opened ticket number 8909653, however it was closed before we could send a response. Were you able to find a solution to the issue? If not, could you respond to the support ticket to re-open it?

Thank you.

The answer is:

Paste the below command (all one line):
Code:
/sbin/service cpanel-dovecot-solr stop;su cpanelsolr -c "/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/ckillall -TERM java";sleep 5;su cpanelsolr -c "/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/ckillall -KILL java";/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/scripts/setup_cpanel_dovecot_fts;/sbin/service cpanel-dovecot-solr start
Test with:
Code:
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/scripts/cpanel_dovecot_solr_maintenance

Or uninstall solr via cPanel Plugins within WHM.
