Solr lookup failed

My dovecot log keeps filling up with this:

Nov 30 22:35:33 one dovecot: imap({customer email here}): Error: fts_solr: Lookup failed: connect(127.0.0.1:8984) failed: Connection refused

I've had solr disabled for quite some time. It doesn't seem to correlate to a successful login. I had a report from a customer about several failed IMAP logins in a row, and traced them to these log lines. Solr confirmed not running, disabled in service manager, and /etc/cpanel-dovecot-solrdisable exists.

Anyone experienced the same and found a resolution?
