It has been recently brought to my notice that about 5 of our clients are not able to access their websites. It says "connection timed out". I have checked, however, they are NOT blocked in the configserver firewall. The same website works fine on my computer and they said that it works fine if they use Proxy.

Any idea what could be causing it?

    Hello :)

The next time this happens, request they run a traceroute from their machine to the domain name they are attempting to access. If your firewall is not blocking their connection, it's possible there is a fault at some point in between. Also, check the Apache error log for their IP address to determine if any Apache settings are blocking their connection attempts. The Apache error log is located at:

    # /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

    Thank you.
