I recently recompiled apache to add a few new modules for increased functionality on my machine:

    -Curl
    -Curl+SSL
    -GD
    -Gettext
    -Imap
    -Flash
    -XML

PHP was v.4.3.4 and Apache was 1.3.29 before the recompile. Phpsuexec was also installed.

I recompiled using /scripts/easyapache option 6, selecting phpsuexec (again), php 4.3.4 then all of the standard mods, including the above.

Now here is the issue.. some php scripts are working fine and some php scripts on other accounts are returning 403 errors.

For those accounts with php that are erroring, I did the following:

    chown username:nobody public_html
    chmod 755 public_html (also tried 750)

    I've also ran /scripts/chownpublichtmls

I've double checked the permissions for the php files that are not working.. they are set to 644 and normally should work.. however, after today's recompile they no longer do.. any ideas?

    Thanks.

It may help to note that I did recompile apache once again, with the above info, to see if the issue would resolve, and the php files that werent working above are still returning the 403
