Some questions about Exim and ClamAV

Hi,

1- In my servers I'm using SpamAssasin + Exim. For exim can scan emails, is mandatory install ClamAV in WHM/cPanel? (I attached a image). Or exim scans email without ClamAV?.

2- When I install ClamAV I need enable only "Scan Mail" in "ClamAV Scanner Configuration"?, or need enable the other options for exim work correctly and protect the emails?.

3- If is mandatory have ClamAV for Exim can work correctly, when I install ClamAV need do any other configuration in Exim?.

I have too Imunify360 + CSF, I only need protect emails with SpamAssasin and Exim.

You would just select Scan Mail if you wanted to scan mail for all users. If you wanted to set different settings for individual users you would select "User Configuration"

I have additional question please:

1- ClamAV is update automatically when update WHM/cPanel?, or I need do anything for update ClamAV?.

This is because ClamAV last release version is 0.102.4, you can check in her blog: ClamAV® blog

But with WHM/cPanel installation I have ClamAV in version: 0.101.5-4.cp1186

2- I installed ClamAV, I need do anything for Exim scans malware in emails with clamd?. Or this is automatic?.
