Typically it is mail.domain.tld. You should be able to find this under 'DNS Functions', 'Edit a DNS Zone' in WHM if your permissions allow it. If you don't have root access or your permissions don't allow viewing the zones, contact your hosting provider and they should supply you with this information.

Thanks, I have WMH access and I did that, and editted the person's url and the mail it only displayed his_site.com. Is that the mail server? His domain name with a period at the end?

    You should see the following:

    domain.tld. 14400 IN MX 0 domain.tld.
    www 14400 IN CNAME domain.tld.
    mail 14400 IN CNAME domain.tld.

In the above example his mail server would be mail.domain.tld

    domain.tld. 14400 IN MX 0 domain.tld.
    www 14400 IN CNAME domain.tld.
    smtp 14400 IN CNAME domain.tld.
    pop 14400 IN CNAME domain.tld.
    mail 14400 IN CNAME domain.tld.

The smtp server in this example would be smtp.domain.tld

    Usually it's just mail.theirdomain.com for POP/IMAP/SMTP.

or just the ip address of your server on which the mail server(exim) is running will just be fine.
