This echoed while installing cPanel on my new server.

Code:
bzip2: Data integrity error when decompressing.
        Input file = /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/./bin/xml-api-cpanelsync.bz2, output file = /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/./bin/xml-api-cpanelsync

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

bzip2: Deleting output file /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/./bin/xml-api-cpanelsync, if it exists.
Another problem...
Code:
md5sum mismatch (actual: 02e9628766b7f6ec67df155d63211d1b) (expected: 9a29196a309981112133e0173cc3ee45)
Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/RELEASE/whostmgr/.cpanelsync.version (1)[email protected]%......Done
Repo: cpanel : check passed : local=11.24.5-RELEASE_38506 & remote=11.24.5-RELEASE_38506 (learn=0)

Looks like that update is corrupt ....

I notice that you are pulling from the "RELEASE" tree ...

I would recommend changing your update configuration to use "CURRENT" and then go an re-run your update attempt and see if that helps you out.

For base installs, you can update the installer script to pull CURRENT directly too.

So? You can change the base install script. I do it all the time.

Otherwise, you'll need to check out what mirror you are calling because you may have a bad feed there.
