    Hi,
We have an unusual situation on a cPanel account.
Somehow all files in the /public_html/ root keep changing from 644 to 660 permissions.

None of the other files and folders under main /public_html/ for this account have been changed

This is the 3rd time within 3 weeks now.
There are 140 accounts on this server, so a bit strange that it's happening to this account.

Any ideas what could be doing this please, or what logs to check?
If cPanel does not have history log files to track file permission changes, can I set something up to watch for next time this happens?

    Thanks,

    - Vince

    Hi,
Customer has seen this happen again today, and still no ideas about what's causing it.

Not sure if it's one for the cPanel support team to look at?

I am also wondering if deleting the account and recreating it may help.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    - Vince

All files or just those used by some script?
