Hi there,

I got a problem exactly like the below thread:

http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/sorry-d...-exists-please-delete-first-all-se-62701.html

Now the thing is,my host looks like not much knowledgable and he says it would be fixed on own but am waiting this since more than 20 days and it hasn't been fixed yet

I have my site: http://www.reach2starz.com

First, only going to www. showed default page and now going to http://reach2starz.com also shows default page.On the above thread I read last post to contact the support, thats why i made this thread for support from cPanel staff!

The thing is,I am master reseller but I also got no SSH/DNS cluster excess at all,so I can't do anything and you know how my host is as I mentioned.

So I was wondering, would any cPanel staff could/can do anything for me to help this issue resolve? Am pissed off, please help me

PS: I have master reseller on another domain, not this!

Thank you,please help!

Hello,

Do you have the right index page for this domain? If yes, then it is not the reason and a ssh access to the server is needed to find out the problem

Sir,

actually the domain doesn't lets me login to cpanel neither FTP because I deleted/terminated that cpanel account with option checked KEEP DNS ENTRY and thats what happened and it shows default website page.It doesn't seems like I have shell access as whenever I try login via PuttY it says access denied!

dood,am not a noob, lol,My domain was TERMINATED that means it was deleted and going to delete zone file asks domain which won't be listed there as its already deleted!

Also,I changed host and different nameservers,so would it point to my new host or it would be pointing to same DNS as the nameservers record is still in the cluster of old hosts? :(

Re: Sorry, a DNS entry for X.com already exists, please delete it first from DNS clus

Hello,

Okay. Please find the intodns results of the domain.

intoDNS: reach2starz.com - check DNS server and mail server health

I could see the name servers at the registrar end and the zone file are the same which is :

ns1.leechvps.com. ['188.72.237.13'] [TTL=172800]
ns2.leechvps.com ['188.72.237.14'] [TTL=86400]

If this is of new server then it is resolving to new server. If you changed them recently it may be a propagation delay.

Re: Sorry, a DNS entry for X.com already exists, please delete it first from DNS clus

Are you certain it isn't showing up in WHM > Delete a DNS Zone area? If you chose to keep the DNS entry, it should still show up there to delete the zone. Did you try to check that area to see if that might be the case? If you have, then I cannot explain why it isn't showing up as a zone to remove when the zone still exists and the only way to get it removed would be to have your hosting provider remove it manually.

I did want to mention this on the off chance it might work also. If it doesn't show up as a DNS zone in the Delete a DNS Zone area, try to add the zone in WHM > Add a DNS Zone and see if it lets you add it. Once it has, it should then show up to delete in WHM > Delete a DNS Zone area.

Hello,

Can you please have a check whether i has an entry in /etc/named.conf ? If yes, you need to remove that also.

Re: Sorry, a DNS entry for X.com already exists, please delete it first fro

If you are trying to add something like xxxx.yyy.com you should delete xxxx and www.xxxx (etc) from yyy.com using the Edit DNS Zone. You cannot add a sub-domain as a site or new "domain" if the domain of that hostname already exists in the DNS server.
