sorry that username is taken

    H there ,,

    When I want to Terminate an Account by WHM , it give this message first.

    Collecting Domain Name and IP....
    User: userXX
    Domain: userXX.com
    Killing all processes owned by user...Done
    Waiting 100 seconds for accounting lock...
    Waiting 90 seconds for accounting lock...
    Waiting 80 seconds for accounting lock...
    Waiting 100 seconds for accounting lock...
    Waiting 90 seconds for accounting lock...
    Waiting 80 seconds for accounting lock...
    Cleaning passwd,shadow,group....Done
    Removing User from Group....Done
    Removing Domlogs...Done
    Removing crontab...Done
    Removed Extra Entries from httpd.conf
    Removed Entry from httpd.conf
    Removed Entry from proftpd.conf
    Removing User....Done
    Removing Group....Done
    Removing Named entry...userXX.com -> deleted from server.
    Done
    Removing mailman lists...
    Done
    Removing mysql Databases....
    Done
    Removing localdomains entires....Done
    Adding ip back to ipaddrpool....Done
    Removing Control Panel file....Done
    Removing Proftpd File....Done

    skip CONTACTAIM (2) [3]
    send to CONTACTEMAIL (3) [3]
    skip CONTACTPAGER (1) [3]
    skip CONTACTUIN (2) [3]
    Done
    Ftp Password Files synced
    Vhost Passwords synced

    userXX.com -> deleted from server.




    when I try to make a new account with this username :userXX ,, it give me thsi erorr:

    Ouch, sorry that username (userXX) is taken. Check /etc/passwd

    So , How can I solve this problem?

    Same problem here:

    /home/username - exists
    /etc/passwd + /etc/group - exists
    databases - exist

    In short: everything stays on the server...

    Also when changing a username, it doesnt' work.


    This is on a FC2 system running the latest Edge (114)

    even the DNS zone still exists...

    submitted as bug #1900 in bugzilla
