    Can you help?

    When I try to

Assign an ip for a new nameserver:

    Nameserver:

    I got this error:

Sorry, the nameserver ns1.xxxxxxx.com already has the ip 209.xxx.xx.xx assigned to it.

I currently am using my namesever on another host. How do I move it and get a new IP address assigned to it?

Manually edit /etc/namserverips and associate the nameserver with the IP address you want. Then go to your registrar and change the IP number. It will work as soon as that change propagates.

You must be seriously bored if you are correcting typos from several months ago. :)

Besides the DNS zone and this directory does cPanel/WHM store the nameserver information anywhere else?

    Oops..

Oops I just posted about this same question a few minutes ago..

If this is all that is necessary, I will be ready to move my server accounts to another box!

So, is there any other place to change nameserver IPs? Assuming WHM's migration scripts did their job 100% of course.
