I receive this error "Sorry, your Cpanel Config file is missing your dns info. / 5" when I am in a customer's cpanel and trying to create a database or view awstats or basically doing everything. Anyone ever come across this error before?

Hello,

Is it a server wide issue or problem with only one domain. If problem with only one domain, please have a look at the user specific file in the /var/cpanel/users/ directory. May be that user, missing the DNS entry in that file. Let me know the statas ;)

I have this error too, when creating mailing lists. I checked /var/cpanel/users and the user file, and the dns= was set just fine.

Any other ideas?

I got the same Config file missing error, I added the DNS=domain.com in /var/cpanel/users/username file buta strange thing happened. Now the account exists on the server but is not appearing in WHM in any function. Not in List Accounts, Terminate Accounts, Upgrade/Downgrade Account... not any where although I have checked from shell that everything exists on the server. What I have to do to make this account appear in WHM?

Also please check that /etc/trueuserdomains does have the entry for that domain.
