Spam Assasin, Filtering, Forwarding - what order?

    I've been trying to set up mail management for a new Cpanel account and I'm confused about the order of processing done on incoming mail to the domain. I do understand that if I forward, and also have a mail account in the same name, that the mail will collect in that account as well as being forwarded.

    My question is: What order is the processing on email? I have set up Spam Assasin to be enabled and it changes the subject to flag spam. I have set up a filter for this flag. But we also forward some mail. So what is the order? Is it
    Spam Assasin -> Filtering -> forwarding/storage or something else?
    Any help appreciated.
