    Hello,

    I have been using cPANEL at our hosting company to setup Spam Assassin. Their answer to this question was not very good, so I'm looking for some better people here.

    My goal is to setup <10 goes to inbox; 10 to 15 goes to spambox; > 15 is auto-deleted. This is based off Spam Assassin documentation which recommends not autodeleting <15. The issue is that my cPanel only allows auto-delete > 10.

    Thanks in advance

    That's as far as I can see also. However, my spam starts at a score of 3 (which goes to my spambox) and 10 is autodelete.

    Quite possibly SpamAssassin on cPanel servers has adjusted score values so that a value of 15 is not required.

    I had thought about the adjusted score. If that is truly the case, I would like someone in the know to give the adjustment scale. My quess is that the scale is not actually adjusted.

    If the Auto Delete settings on the SpamAssassin page of the cPanel interface are not sufficiently flexible for you, I'd recommend creating an email rule manually (as this is all "Auto Delete" actually does.)

    In the Mail section of the cPanel interface click on Account Level Filtering. If you already have Auto Delete enabled, you will see it labeled as "Generated SpamAssassin Discard Rule." You can then edit that rule as desired.

    If not, create your own rule as follows:
    Rules: Spam Bar Contains +++++++++++++++
    Actions: Discard Message

    This rule will delete any mail with a spam score of 15 or higher (15 +'s).

    Hello David G,

    Thanks, for the response :). I arrived at a similar solution, but it's slightly different then your recommendation. My hosting company does not have "Spam Bar" rule enabled because they said it does not work. It is grayed out as an option.

    Instead I have implemented a rule

    "Any headers" contains ***************

    AND

    "Spam Status" contains Yes

    Action Discard Message
