I've not used spam assassin in the past, because it slowed the server too much. But after seeing that the new SpamAssassin on cpanel 11 was different and faster, i added it into whm. I wasn't sure where to add it in, so i added it to all 3 places i could find
    a) Tweak Settings / Mail / SpamAssassin Spam Filter
    b) Service Configuration / Service Manager / Spamd
    c) Service Configuration / Exim Config / Mail / Turn spam assassin on

But the only place i see it active is in 'Service Status'. Does that mean it's working? I don't see it in any of the individual accounts when i login to cpanel itself.

    1) how can i tell if it's active and working?

    2) Also what's the difference between SpamAssassin and 'SpamAssassin Spam Box' ? I added both thru 'Feature Manager' but don't know what each does or where to actually find them.

    Thanks so much,

If it is listed as active in Service Status then it is functioning but does not mean it's enabled on all domains :)

Spam Box is a feature where all mail marked as Spam goes to a folder called "spam" on user's webmail and IMAP accounts.

Spambox and Spam Assassin can be enabled/disabled by each user (domain account)
