I think somebody is using the dictionary spam attack on the server against my domain. My /home/<domain>/mail/inbox file is 11GB big of useless e-mails sent there such as to helen@<domain>.com john@<domain>.com

How do I set it up so that e-mails such as this don't get saved to that file?

    11 GB inbox?

Definitely time to convert to maildir format !!!

    Code:
    /scripts/convert2maildir

As for blocking dictionary attacks, there are serveral threads on the subject
already posted on this forum community with Exim configuration examples.

Maildir stores each message as a single file rather than a combined 1 file inbox like it is now.
Are the messages being sent from a single IP or have a common subject in them? You can setup filters to block this as well
