I've found a problem and I am not sure how to correct it, and it applies to root account email names. Here is the senario as I see it in example:
Environment: CPanel edge, CEntos4, exim, mailscanner
My server is, I have a virtual website on the server call with the root account name of john and the associated email
My spam settings are set to :fail: and "delete" spam of a rating over 15
Spam sent to is stopped with rating over 15, but if someone sends the same spam to that email is scanned flag'd as spam but no rules are applied and that email is placed in to john's account in

So how can I fix the rules or cpanel so that spam filtering is applied on the server's domain name since there is no virtual website account for the servers domain Or out right reject email sent to

You might want to try ASSP - which acts more like a spam proxy server so it will act like the first layer of defence for a server..... we're using it and by and large it's pretty good...
