    Hello All,

The problem is that the spam return address is usually bogus and the mail can\'t be delivered. This causes an error message to be sent to the mail box and it doesn\'t doesn\'t
help the situation because the mailbox still fills with junk, all be it error messages. Is there a way to prevent any error messages being sent or in the very least have them auto deleted from the mailbox it is delivered to on the server?

    Thank you,

I believe the solution lies with setting Exim to check the validity of each sender's e-mail address before accepting a message. Mail from invalid addresses can then be bounced on SMTP level before it even enters your server.

I won't dare tell you how to do this (know too little), but will rather sit back and wait for one of the Exim experts on the forum to give us a how-to ;)
