    Hi there,

Occasionally i get spammers on my server. Sending out large amounts of spam. I believe they use PHP (sendmail?) to send the spam. I don't want to stop my users from using php to send mail as many scripts use it.

Any suggestions? Can i limit the amount of mails per hour sent through PHP? Currently i use spam trap logger to log users that are sending large amount of mail, however this isn't really a fix as by this time the user has already sent out the spam.

    Please help!

    Thanks,
    -AP

Have you tried limiting the mail allowed per hour in the Tweak Settings at all?
Do you have any apache filter like mod_security installed stopped BCC injections?

do phpsuexec or suphp have disadvantages? Like scripts stopping to work etc.?

Also, does this daily limit affect ALL mail? I have looked into this before and i seem to remember a problem...
