check out configservers.com for anti spam solutions as well as why you should use :fail: instead of blackhole.

    They do great work!

configservers mailscanner is a paid service but its worth every penny. We are running 2 servers with chirpys mailscanner config and it stops probably %95 of the spam and %99 of the viruses.

If you want to get rid of the spam purchase the paid mailscanner service from configserver you won't be disappointed

And if you have a problem their support is prompt and very through

i had a huge problem with spam and Andy @ servetune.com was able to block almost all of the spam. I don't know about other companies, but servertune.com worked quickly and effectively.

    Ditto.

We were having major issues with Spam being sent through our servers. It was so bad that we were being blacklisted left right and center by companies such as AOL, Yahoo etc. We got chirpy's mailscanner software. Chirpy even installed it for us to make sure it was done right and it has made a massive effect. I would recommend it.

ConfigServer services are great. And it does really help with keeping spam from coming into customers boxes. We use it as well and are very pleased.
But the spam problem is a bad one right now and I don't think enough attention is paid to users who have no clue on how to protect their email addresses on their webpages. We've been watching email via mailwatch and contacting users who get the most spam to try and address this issue more if possible.
