As the title says, we have multiple domains set up with identical spamassasin settings, but not all of them perform the subject rewrite.

Any ideas on how this could happen?

You'll need to use the old spam system (enable in WHM >> Service Config >> Exim Config editor) if you need rewrites.

Note: the old system is at least 30% slower, at most 100% slower.

Thanks for the reply, but I have read that elsewhere on the forums and that is not my problem.

Rewrites are working, but not on all domains. It works on some domains but not others. I have checked the spamassassin user_prefs files (in each users home directory) and they are exactly the same (apart from the whitelist, obviously).

We are using WHM 10.8.0, if thats relevant?

Ok, on the spamassassin page in Cpanel, theres a line that says: "To simply have the server DELETE and NOT deliver emails that are tagged as spam by SpamAssassin, click here now."

This could be the cause of the problem - what happens when you "click here" and how do you undo it? It doesn't seem to do anything in the spamassassin config files...

    On 11.4.19-RELEASE it reads:

To automatically delete messages marked as spam, click here now. To disable auto-deletion of spam, remove the 'Generated SpamAsssasin Discard Rule' from Account Level Email Filters:click here.

Just remove the filter it creates in the account level filters.

So, am I right in assuming, using the new transport system, the user level stuff will not work at all, rendering the 'Spam Box" inoperative?

Since upgrading I am now seeing loads more spam in the INBOX of all accounts...
