Hello,

we are an ESP provider from Czech Republic, Europe. Our clients are regular Czech companies with their own client DB. From yesterday we have a problem with our domains used in emails for online version, logout link and tracking the links. We are receiving a bad score because of these domain names.

The score is e.g.:
DKIM_SIGNED=0.1,
DKIM_VALID=-0.1,
HTML_MESSAGE=0.001,
RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_51_100=0.365,
RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_E8_51_100=2.43
RAZOR2_CHECK=1.729

SPF_PASS=-0.001

We found out that one of our client probably sent a campaign on bought DB (100.000 addresses), so we blocked him, but now we need to solve this issue.

To buy a new domains is a solution, but not long-term solution. Do you have any idea how to solve it?

Would it help, that every user of our system would have (for these links in email) a subdomain like username.redirectdomain.com Or another solution - registering to some whitelist?

There should be a solution when you from 95% do not send spam and you don't want to replace your domains every week. HW and IP addresses we have solved well, we have problem with this penalization in email body - especially for domain names used for tracking the links (oficial links are replaced with ours).

Thank you, for help.

Hello :)

Are you having issues with SpamAssassin scanning outgoing emails, or are you referring to the SpamAssassin installations on the remote mail servers receiving emails from your server? Could you post an example of the situation you are referring to?

Thank you.

Hello,

thank you for reply and question. :) I speak about Spam Score obtained from mail server which receive the message.

And now the situation:

Until a few days ago we used for viewing online verison of newsletter a domain "www.removed1", for logout page "www.removed2" and for tracking links we replaced them with ours incl. redirection (domain "www.removed3"). But after one campaign of our client (who send probably SPAM) we are receiving such a bad valuation (RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_51_100=0.365, RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_E8_51_100=2.43 and RAZOR2_CHECK=1.729) when the message body contains one of these domain.

So only one solution now is to change these domain. But we don't want to do it more times in future. We want to find a solution which will work. Of course I don't expect sending SPAM every day, but when we cannot check our clients deeply, it happens some times.

I hope now it is more clear :)

Thanks for any idea.

I suggest implementing policies to prevent email abuse from occurring. That's the best method of preventing your server from appearing on abuse lists or having remote servers detect mail as SPAM. Here is a good place to start:

cPanel - Prevent Email Abuse

Thank you.
