Under my client accounts email settings in cPanel, I cant get the spam filter to save to a lower level.

Currently it is set to 5, but when I try to change this to 4, it wont save.

    Anyone have any ideas please.
    Thanks.

    Hello :)

Do you have root access to this server? If so, please check the cPanel error log when the modification is not saved. The cPanel error log is located at:

    /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

    Thank you.

Hello and thanks for the reply.

I do have root access and I have had a look at the error file as soon as I attempted to change the filter.

I opened the error file and the last few entries are:

2012-11-15 15:58:11 +0000] info [pkgacct] Quotas are not enabled

Unfortunatly, I know nothing about Quotas.

Any more suggestions would be welcomed.

Am having the same issue - however there is no button to save the new level.

Can someone suggest a fix please.

Actually you can't make any changes it seems to an account.

I seem to have come to a dead end on this one. I have looked for answers and found quite a lot of info about this, but not one clear answer that has solved my problem. I still cant save the score from the drop down list no matter how i try. If anyone has any idea about this, it would help a lot.

I can go into the section where is says "You may also configure the different settings for Spam Assassin." and set the score to say 4, but back in the filters, it still reads as 5?????

    Did anyone solve this?

I am having the same issue ever since the upgrade to WHM 11.34.0 (build 11) - what is the status of this problem?

The button below the Score menu says Auto-Delete Spam. If you don't see any button under that menu, could you please post a screenshot of what you do see?

I'm unsure if changing the Score on the main page from the menu, changes the required_score settings on the Configuration page. I'll see what I can find out about this.

A note about issues like this. If you suspect an issue with the cPanel software, you are permitted to open a Defect report about it, directly to cPanel. On top of every page of these forums is a link titled "Defects" for doing that.

These forums are Community user to user support oriented. If you need technical support or suspect an issue with the software, opening a ticket via your WHM > Support menu, top right side of any page in WHM, or, using that Defects link in the forums navbar here, is the best way to go.

    Thanks
