    Hi!

The Spamassassin configuration publicated by cPanel into his web it's really poor. I need more options, so I want to edit manually it's files.

My question it's how I could avoid Cpanel modifies the edited files.

I think the /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf should be modified when I enter on the spamassassin webpage and press the save button.

There are user editable files not modified by cPanel?

    Regards,

You can edit /home/USERNAME/.spamassassin/user_prefs . I've never had this overwritten by cPanel.

/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf on the other hand DOES get overwritten frequently after upcp. So I wrote a script that runs with postupcp to correct it.
