    Hello,

Recently i've enabled the following 2 features on my exim:

Blocking spoofed mails going out of your cPanel/WHM web hosting server - Bobcares
    and:
Scan Outgoing Mail - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

Ever since spamassassin has ceased functioning and now does not filter anything anymore.
Reverting exim config does fix it but I simply wish to not get blacklisted for every idiot who installs malware on his pc hench the outbound filter is essential.

could someone guide me how to debug this.

    Hello,

The custom configuration in the first URL is unsupported. Try removing those custom entries, and enabling either "Scan outgoing messages for spam and reject based on the Apache SpamAssassin™ internal spam_score setting" or "Scan outgoing messages for spam and reject based on defined Apache SpamAssassin™ score" in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager".

Additionally, the options referenced on the following document can help:

How to Prevent Email Abuse - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

    Thank you.
