SpamAssassin V/s Email filter rules.

Hi Guys,

Which one having higher priority "SpamAssassin or Email filter rules?"

1. If i whitelist an email id in SpamAssassin and block it in account level / user level filter what will happen ?

2. What if i blacklist the domain in SpamAssassin and create a rule in email filters to stop processing rule for a particular email id under that domain, am i able to receive mails ?

Hello

1. The email address will be blocked if you configure a filter to block it. The fact that it's white listed in SpamAssassin does not exclude it from filter rules.

2. It will still be detected as SPAM, however it may not be deleted if you have configured messages marked as "SPAM" to be deleted automatically.

Do you experience different behavior when testing these scenarios?
