    Hi,

Has anyone else noticed that Spamassassin has been nowhere near as effective in recent weeks?

I have my spam score set to 0 and am still receiving alot of spam whereas a few weeks ago I didn't receive any.

0 is very aggressive and really should not be receiving much spam at all if any.

This is happening on multiple servers with the latest cPanel, so I assume the more recent updates has caused this situation.

Any ideas or comments? Can I tweak anything?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up on that one. Completely missed it myself. Have downgraded to 0.48 of NetDNS and DNS checks are working again.

Thanks very much. So it is a big issue then!

Can we assume that cPanel will fix all of these issues in a near future update?

Is there anything I can do as a quick fix in the meantime?

    Thanks very much.

Other than keeping up to date with what's in that thread (i.e. making sure you have the latest release of the exim package installed) that's it for now. The issue is really between SpamAssassin and the way it's implemented in exim and to a large extent it out of cPanel's hands it would seem.

    Thanks.

I just added: "dns_available yes" to the local.cf file

Surely though cPanel is a complete package that includes Exim an SA and accordingly it should be fixed as a complete working system soon?
