Yesterday I noticed cpanel did its nightly update and i got all types of new goodies.

    WHM 11.1.0 cPanel 11.2.1-C11600
    FEDORA 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

Memory was high this morning so I restarted. Since then SPAMD keeps failing. I have ssh'd and restarted and it comes back but then fails again.

    php is 4.4.4

If you need any other info, let me know and help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You
    Brady

    Do the following:
    ps auxfww | grep spamd
    kill -9 PID

    /scripts/perlinstaller --force Digest::SHA1
    /scripts/fixspamassassinfailedupdate
    /etc/init.d/chkservd restart :)

    Thank you.

    cpsrvd up
    pop up
    syslogd up
    eximstats up
    exim (exim-4.63-1_cpanel_smtpctl_av_rewrite_mm2_mmmtrap_exiscan_md5pass) up
    ftpd up
    named (9.2.5) up
    spamd up
    mysql (4.1.21-standard) up
    httpd (1.3.37 (Unix)) up
    Server Load 0.35 (4 cpus)
    Memory Used 16.3 %
    Swap Used 0.00 %
    Disk /dev/sda6 (/tmp) 2 %
    Disk /dev/sda7 (/home) 23 %
    Disk /dev/sda1 (/) 75 %
    Disk /dev/sda2 (/usr) 41 %

Do you think I should keep auto updates on or do manual so atleast i know if there may be issues?

    Thanks,
    Brady

I always like to wait for a week or so to give the cPanel developers time to debug a release before we update the cPanel/WHM on our servers. That said, we do updates manually.
