We are getting large amounts of email going out from our server and this is the kind of things showing up in top:

    /usr/sbin/exim -MCS -MC remote_smtp mail.mailtx.com 2
    /usr/sbin/exim -MCS -MCP -MC remote_smtp mx1.mail.yahoo.com 2
    /usr/sbin/exim -MCS -MCP -MC remote_smtp mx2.mail.yahoo.com 2
    /usr/sbin/exim -MCS -MCP -MC remote_smtp mx4.mail.yahoo.com 2

How do we find out who's doing this, as exim runs under root, and anyone that sends out email using a sendmail type of command in perl or php, etc, runs defaults to exim. Top doesn't show any cgi scripts running.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Same thing happening on our servers... i really wish there would be a permanent fix to this.. It appears that the person doing this is not a customer but someone who is illegal trying to use our server to send out emails.
